This easy and yummy recipe can be eaten as a desert or for breakfast. It is my version of a Plan recipe. I make it in 8-ounce mason jars. If you use large apples, it will fill approximately 6-8 jars.
Apple Streusel
Streusel topping
1 ½ cup blanched almond flour
2 Tablespoons coconut sugar
1/3 cup coconut oil melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Apple filling
3 apples cored and chopped into ½” pieces
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon cardamom
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
Special equipment- eight 8-ounce mason jars

Instructions
Pre heat oven to 350° degrees
Streusel
In a medium bowl mix all ingredients by hand and set aside.
Apple filling
Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl.
Then fill the jars and top with about ½” of the streusel topping. Pack down firmly. Place mason jars on a baking sheet to prevent spills.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until streusel topping is lightly browned. Serve warm.

I really like this recipe because it feels like a sweet decadent treat at the same time it’s nutritious and has a nice amount of protein!
Hope you will enjoy!
